Meet:

Jason Min Sun Kim

Jason Kim is a first-generation Korean American who grew up in small-town Texas. His parents built a small gas station business from the ground up, and Jason often helped them interpret government and regulatory documents they struggled to understand. Those early experiences showed him firsthand how overwhelming legal issues can be for small business owners and shaped his commitment to helping them navigate complex requirements with confidence.

Before starting his own firm, Jason practiced at a major law firm in Houston, where he defended a wide range of clients from mom-and-pop businesses to Fortune 500 corporations in complex commercial and tort litigation in Texas state and federal courts. He earned a reputation for his no-nonsense approach, meticulous preparation, and an ability to outperform far more experienced opponents through discipline and strategic thinking. His work ethic, shaped by his upbringing, continues to guide his advocacy today.

Jason earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center. During law school, he represented underserved clients in the legal clinics, handling matters involving tax delinquency, eviction, DTPA claims, and probate issues. He also served as Online Content Editor of the Houston Journal of Health Law and Policy.

With years of experience representing businesses of all sizes and a personal understanding of the challenges small business owners face, Jason founded his firm to provide accessible, thorough, and client-centered representation to those who deserve an advocate as hardworking as they are.

In his free time, Jason spends time with his dog Roo, plays golf, and explores new restaurants.
